wythe hotel in brooklyn

i love a well done, pretty hotel. my birthday is still a few months away, but i found out one of my fave bands is playing in brooklyn that weekend, so i'm trying to concoct a plan which will involve a few nights in nyc plus the concert. i've had my eye on the wythe hotel - it's an old turn-of-the-century factory converted to a 72 room hotel in brooklyn on the waterfront, and it's just so well done. we ate at the restaurant last summer and i thought it was great, so a weekend stay might be just the ticket for may.

isn't it pretty?  i love all the crisp white linen with the kooky wallpaper and modern fixtures.  the tiles and the warm woods.  yum.

Brooklyn is good! Back in my NYC days, i had big dreams of taking water taxi to work, and walking the bridge home each night. Never left manhatten until I really left. Will have to check out that hotel next time im in the city. My fav part of those pictures has to be the mini bar honor sheet. I am willing to bet that over 96% of people are 100% honest when given that sort of responsibility.

I stayed in NYC not too long ago and ended up getting a hotel in Manhattan! This hotel is amazing though and makes me wish I stayed in Brooklyn!

That hotel looks beautiful! I live in Brooklyn and will have to stop in for a cocktail, thanks for sharing. I, too love a gorgeous hotel even to just stop in for a beverage.

Live a few blocks away from the Wythe and my husband and I frequent it regularly - the rooftop bar has amazing skyline views, great drinks and usually a good dj. Also as an alternative check out the bar directly across the street called Kinfolk studios, one of my favorite dancy places to unwind the neighborhood.

I want to stay here for our first anniversary! Also, I love the library with floor-to-ceiling barrister shelves. Perfect for an industrial design.

I hope you're able to make it happen! The photos of that hotel are gorgeous. I like the wall paper mixed with the old brick.
