raleigh house tour

i'm so excited to share with you guys a styling project i worked on here in raleigh with a fantastic furbish client.  dare called me in to help when she was getting ready to make the move from her bachelorette condo to a new home with her new husband and puppy.  i was excited to help - dare has fabulous taste.  she already had collected so many great statement pieces of furniture, gorgeous accessories, artwork and books -- i was just there to help with some bigger picture things.  she had most of the great ideas for the new house, i just agreed and helped her execute them.  we worked together over several months to find new pieces to make the house a home - from nightstands to dining chairs, mirrors, artwork and fabrics; i was just there to augment her already chic sensibilities.  for the shoot, we had some fun bringing over some items from the store to style, but dare deserves all of the credit for bones of this great home.  enjoy!

I just called a couple of upholstery contacts that I found on a google search and went with the least expensive quote. I gave the guy pics of what I wanted the headboard to look like (I modeled it after one from ballard) and poof - they delivered it several days later. I wish I could remember the name of the upholstery guy - he did a great job for a good price!
