i just finished up this plan for a family room, and it was TOTALLY outside of my crazy pink box, but i'm pretty stoked about how it turned out. (click for bigger)
It pretty timeless, and I love that you've lightened up the vibe with the orange egg chair. Grasscloth backed bookcases? I really like that idea. Those may have to come and live here in the near future...
OMG, dying. I LOVE it. This is one of my favorite mood boards I've ever seen. I could so have this living room. I wouldn't change one thing. I even pinned it. ;)
This is quite stunning. I love that it feels fairly neutral yet theres plenty of texture and pattern going on,timeless but very "now" and current. Beautiful job!
The egg chair is really going to set the room off. I can imagine a vase with flowers, with that same orange. (can't half tell I'm a designer too!) Sarah
Absolutely love all of the elements in the room. Can you tell me what program you created the you used to create this. I am a designer and love the finished look this has as a presentation. Fabulous all around!
Excellent blog post for men and women and very informative way too. I am totally glad you placed this here. here If only I could start a man's site that looks as effective as ours.

Wow - great color palette - special without being weird. Plenty of seating. Serene with a hit of fun.
You are incredibly talented. I enjoy your posts very much!
it's so..neutral & calm. but quite lovely.

What is the name of that Sherwin Williams color? I love it!
Where did you find the pair of granite colored chairs? They are wonderful, and would work perfectly in my living room.
Love the site.

Love, Love, Love everything about this room. That bench is to die for..look at those legs! This room design is like your softer, gentler side :-)
I want to visit and sip cocktails in every one of the rooms you design. We'd have a swell time matching cocktails to the rooms.
I'd like to live in this room. You'd have to standing invitation to drop in any time for a smoky martini.
Great job Jamie. I love this board.
J - I ADORE this room! Such a good job of mixing a little masculinity into it, too. So clean and modern. Giving me some ideas for our living room....
Dude! Furniture sources please! I love it!
Does anyone know the type of computer program used to create that room?
i used photoshop for the room plan
Love this. I always turn to LOTS of color first, but this is so refreshing. Great job!!
It's awesome, every single detail. But of course it is.

Stay dry, friend!!
