normally pink is good. not in my eye though.

I think you found a really cool eye patch and you are using pink eye as your excuse to sport it around town. ;-)
Don't bother going to doctor. Use Renu contact lens cleaner. Active ingredient same as in pink eye prescription: boric acid.
