in case you were wondering

rowdy does fit in our large hamper.

also, finding tennis shoes for a girl like me is tough. i am not particularly sporty, yet all of the tennis shoe options looks so... active. i've always worn just regular old gray new balances, but they decided to cave in on the sides and attack my ankles, so i went out in search of something equally passive and found there aren't a lot of options. everything has bubbles or bumps and looked generally intimidating.

so i got these. they were on sale for $26 at journeys. i gave up. this story had no climax. (have you any recommendations?)

brian meares and i are leaving tonight for boulder, co, land of the free and home of the brave, and i'll be gone for 1.0 week. this trip requires tennis shoes.

in additional traveling news, keila, nick and i are headed to LA in a few weeks to soak up some inspiration which MAY be related to my big news i've been twittering about!

i was happy to deliver this hair on hide custom bench to a client, with newly upholstered in thom filicia fabric retro chairs, but also sad to part with them.

Rowdy looks too cute in the hamper. As for shoe recommendations I just bought these from zappos: http://www.zappos.com/simple-take-on-elastic-goat and I LOVE em! They are very comfy and I've received lots of compliments on them.

It's been said but I'll say it again -That bench!! is too beautiful. Have fun in Boulder. If you like sushi you should definitely hit up Hapa on Pearl St for their orgasm roll. It's to die for.

ohhhh watch out girl. I posted that pillow today and got reemed by readers who were concerned that my choice in accessories might directly lead to infant anorexia.

ok on the shoes - i often go to onlineshoes.com and shop around for causal yet spiffy runners for everyday use - i don't like wearing athletic shoes that look like athletic shoes when i'm not working out - just not that kinda gal. they have ones called PF Flyers that have a really cool retro look but are comfy - so look under the category casual then sneakers and you'll get a lot.
