I love that those books look like a regular family's collection and not some unrealistic arrangement of uniform colors. Now I have the urge to rearrange the stuff in my built ins... again.

Great choice!

Lulu DK pillows were my first big design purchase. I will forever be attached. Well done.

This takes the trend of hanging artwork on bookcases to a point of absurdity. Put your books on the shelves and put your art on a wall. please.

Sorry about the snake repeat. Guess I feel strongly about it.

Look bookcases however am not a big fan of hanging art in front of them as shown there....to me it just looks misplaced and then what about the practical point where if you need a book thats behind the painting? Then what? So I don't get it, think its a trend that will fade in due time. Also that particular print is just not so attractive...but love the bookcase!

i really like this room. and i love that big blob of green in the photo... brings in the green from the outdoors. but the subject matter? gives me chills... couldn't have that hanging on my wall or bookcase.

I'm terrified of snakes (even if they do introduce incredible color into a room). But I kind of like the idea of immortalizing your fears in your home design. I should get some killer spider or bug art!

That room was in a house that since burned down, sadly.
