i got a new sign this morning.  this makes me immensely happy b/c i had been hauling a 293784 pound wooden sign out every morning that was peeling and generally awful.

saw this bathroom over at mfamb and did a tiny shriek b/c it has 2983493 lovely little vases from middle kingdom on the mantel. i carry them at my store, and no one's ever seen them before. they're just so sweet and come in 5 different colors, including PINK! and 5 different sizes.

i'm a sucker for a big ole monogram, which is why i'm dropping off our duvet at the local monogram store to get mearesed up this week.  but i'm wondering, isn't it a little... unfair... to put my monogram smack in the middle of the bed?





wonder if i did a mash up of both of our initials with the M in the middle.  is that a faux pas?

i have not been abducted. but i have done a wedding ni nyc, and a wedding at the beach, and now. NOW! i am home. and my bag is unpacked.

nyc was a blast - all of our friends were in town for the festivities. we saw the evolution of women exhibit at the met (what happened after the 30s - just straight to gaga?), the crazy bamboo on the roof, walked around highline park (i loved the stained windows that were colors from the hudson),

and had pose offs with subway and bus posters (brian won, clearly)



the wedding at wrightsville beach was equally fun. the bridesmaids gifts were cute monogrammed towels, and a goodie bag with our favorite snack and cocktail and a funny card.




there was a massive lightning storm right after the ceremony that the bride and groom got amazing photos in.
