sassification
one of the most life changing things i have at the store is the python tray. for crying out loud they are fabulous. and affordable. i couldn't believe it when i found out the price. i was like, for real? shouldn't i pay you more for these... but alas, they're only $45.
betsy has one.

more
we acquired a huge stuffed peacock, in full plume.
he's lording over the pillows. he looks sort of drunk.
rowdy is very unsure about the whole thing. he won't get on his bed, but will lie on the floor just near enough to keep an eye on the peacock.
i made some art for the monster nightstands. brian says it's very modern. he's mine ladies - my discerning husband.
holler
thom loves it here.
lobsterface.
couch is buggy.
today's job is to organize this. i'm looking for some clear acrylic boxes. decent sized. not expensive. any ideas?

a few things
i went to see thom filicia's new line of furniture for vanguard. he's an indiscriminate cheek kisser. weirds me out.

brian switched faces with a panther.

driving with this as my passenger makes me happy.

and stickers affixed to car do the same.

i wish my dress was a fabric i could buy yards and yards of.

guess who got their first shipment of custom furniture?

this girl.

i feel compelled to make a point
i haven't made a strong point in a good while.
these tables are from oomph. and yes, they are cute as all get out.
and here are the dimensions, and pricing, respectively:
40", 19", 33"H $1330
8.5", 18" 20"H $360
8", 18", 20"H $420
16", 16", 20"H $460
they are wood, and lacquered in sherwin williams paint.
and here's a shot of the scale you can put it all in perspective. that pillow is about to eat the $460 table.

this is not an acceptable price. this is downright unreasonable. i saw them in person at the gift show and i had a oomph of my own due to sticker shock. i cannot abide by this. i'm going to sell you cuteasallgetup lacquered tables for $75 and sleep well at night.

spotted
reading lonny now...
interrupted to report to you that i've spotted my tiny martha casserole dishes! good reminder for me to use them.
a story and an example
brian meares works for a marketing firm. a few weeks ago they had a young woman in for an interview, and during the course of it, she bragged about her workout regimen and the size of her 'guns'. towards the end of the interview, she decided to flex her 'guns', for the owner of the company, and said, "BAM BAM HOLLA".
she did not get hired.
i got a new settee in today. bam bam holla?
