i wanted to take an opportunity to address a few biznatch related items.

1 - thank you everyone for being patient with the not so speedy shipping of the mr. and mrs. glasses. i was completely overwhelmed, literally and figuratively with the number of orders, and i'm working harder than ryan seacrest to get them all out as quickly as possible. everyone who has placed their order so far should expect their shipment by the end of next week at the very latest.

2 - i am filled with delight when someone who reads my blog visits the store. but, the only way i'll know this is if you introduce yourself to me. my shop is pretty small, and the last thing i want to do is suffocate anyone so i'm probably not going to clog over to you with a song and dance. so if you've been in, and been less than impressed with the jamie meares show in person, give it another spin - and say hi. we'll watch a beyonce video at my desk and try to learn the dance. we can google what jamie lynn spears has been up to (where is she?), or memorize chloe sevigny monologues (thank mr. olsen for that)

blog readers are the reason i am in business. i owe so much to you guys - you advertise for me, you buy my items, you trust my opinions, you tell your homeboys to go and tell other homeboys, and, you complete me.

  1. FYI, if I lived any where near Raleigh I'd visit you at your store! CA is a bit far. Someday I'll make a vacation out of it.

  5. I did visit your store recently. I live in Georgia and was there visiting my brother. The only thing I wanted to do while I was there was visit your store. I became super shy and couldn't say anything. My husband kept making fun of me. All I could say was, "I love your store." I know...I'm a douche.

I wish this had a *like* option.
I'm all the way in NY but I would totally be the person to make sure to visit your store and too shy to say I follow your blog.

  12. i 100% came to your store and felt ridiculous admitting I read your blog. the store was fabulous and I felt silly coming up and saying, oh hey, i read your blog. : ) my husband also totally made fun of me for it. this may happen more than you know. paranoia?

  13. the delay in my mr/mrs glasses just means i'll be keeping them for myself. i had planned on gifting them to me mum, but found her something else. (i think this was really the plan all along tho)

    her loss, my gain.

and don't you worry, if i'm ever in your store I'll try to bff you! because in my mind, we already are!

  16. I'm so awkward about the blog...my fiance probably promotes it better than I do. I have a really hard time introducing myself as a blogger. I have business cards, but haven't even given out 50 in the year I've had them.

    However...

You are so darn cool that when we wind up in Raleigh, I WILL come in and I WILL say hello (and snuggle that pup up like it's my job!).
