What upholster do you use? I am looking to have a wingback chair of my grandmother's reupholstered... and I don't know where to go.
I say yes to the fun bling! If you can find a decent source (yard sales, thrifting, etc.) for inexpensive but in good condition bling it would be fun to horde tghem until you have a pirate's chest of booty and set them all on a tray or inside an etagiere and charge a flat rate for them - like $15 - $25. There is an antique/srchitectural shop near me that did this for one of their sale parties and the women in attendence (myself included) were flocking to the sparkle! Even if I couldn't buy the bazillion dollar lighting fixture I could come home with a fun rhinestone necklace!
PS - Love the fabric on the chairs - makes an otherwise ho-hum pair of chairs very fresh!
