we acquired a huge stuffed peacock, in full plume.
photo-57

he's lording over the pillows.  he looks sort of drunk.
photo-58

rowdy is very unsure about the whole thing.  he won't get on his bed, but will lie on the floor just near enough to keep an eye on the peacock.

i made some art for the monster nightstands.  brian says it's very modern.  he's mine ladies - my discerning husband.

  1. I love your taste. I could totally make myself at home in your store.

  2. I'm with rowdy on this one...Keep an eye on that sucker. My mom had an affinity for stuffed peacocks placed unexpectedly throughout the home. Let me tell you it'll scare the bejesus out of you when you get up for a midnight glass of water/sneak in after a late night...but maybe that was the intention

  3. Maybe try somewhere like The Container Store, Space Savers, or Organize.com. Container Store always has stuff like that when I'm in there.

  7. Jamie, I LOVE your use of color and pattern! You have such a great eye.

That new peacock is pretty fab. Poor Rowdy, though! I think Tate would be pretty dubious about that thing, too.

The studio looks fantastic. Bam! Holler! You are too funny! :)

  41. I want this peacock! My husband's middle name is Peacock and I have a small collection. This one would be named Peter Peacock in memory of one of my husband's former pets.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I love the locker-type thing that the peacock is sitting on top of. Was that a thrift find or did you purchase it from somewhere as a display?

    ReplyDelete
  43. What a find! Love the lobster pillow and the turquoise cabinet with the Chinese chippendale fretwork.
