i went to see thom filicia's new line of furniture for vanguard. he's an indiscriminate cheek kisser. weirds me out.

brian switched faces with a panther.

driving with this as my passenger makes me happy.

and stickers affixed to car do the same.

i wish my dress was a fabric i could buy yards and yards of.

guess who got their first shipment of custom furniture?

this girl.

you've made me grin at 7.46am - that's a good start to the day!
Think your store and how you write about it is super fantastic.
Jamie, this whole post is awesomeness squared.
thank you for this. made me grin!
indiscriminate cheek kissers run rampant in south florida. i think it's a cultural thing.
oh, and your stickers are awesome, by the way.

I don't know if you know about spoonflower. It allows you to do relatively small runs of fabric. Just a few tweaks on your dress fabric and you actually could make your own yardage.

I've never used it, but people who have really like it.
Have fun with your new furniture!
Look at that custom furniture just waiting for greatness! You go Glen CoCo!
The cheek kissing doesn't weird me out as much as the face switch pic! Very fun! I love your blog....I grew up hearing my Grandmother say, "Well, I sawannee!". What a great blog name!!
WOW! you have been having fun! smiles.
I would totally love a kiss from one of my favorite designers, so I'm totally jealous! Oh and totally jealous of that awesome new furniture! Can't wait to see what you do to it!
Gorgeous furniture. I love it. Can't wait until your website is up and running so we can all purchase from it!
lucite box is right abt Spoonflower, AND they're in Mebane (or there abouts). I just had some of my own stuff printed. Also, awesome about the furniture. And doesn't that eagle table remind you of that antique eagle table that "young designer" blew his wad on in Domino...the guy with the sparsely furnished apt.
it is all v. exciting.
brian is fucking cool.
i love that eagle console!
Cant wait to see what you do w/ the custom furniture

Can't wait to see what you're going to do with the zebra fabric...I love me some zebra print! :-)
Love the custom nesting tables. You will make them fabulous I'm sure. That picture of your man and the cheetah reminds me of that stand-up bit the comic you plays Terri on Reno 911: "Cheetah, sit. Cheetaaah, SIT"
It's funny, chiggidy check it out.
Congratulations on your mention in Elle Decor!!
The custom furniture! I can't wait to see what you do with it!
