I love that ship chandelier! It's everywhere! I noticed it for the first time in San Tropez when I did my eurotrip in college, and then it was in Nanette Lapore's den (the one with the eva peron painting over the fireplace and all the wood paneling) from Elle decor awhile back, love it!

A lot of people hate that ship. I think in the right space, it's got serious potential.

BOAT light = AWESOMEFACE! I pretty much must own something that fabulous at some point in my life. Wow.
I love the bookcases of the day. You are helping me immensely with this feature. I am faced with the task of furnishing two ten foot by six foot cases flanking my fireplace. Its very hard to get the right mix of books and objects. Maybe you should do a bookcase how to.
