a few things from the bedroom

cat hair makes me ill. not physically, but mentally. fighting it consumes me.

we have three cats and their dog sanctuary is our bed. so it's covered, all the time. the best way to combat it, i've found, is a pet sponge, and a constant washing and changing of sheets.


last night i washed everything, including the comforter, only to have them pile back on, one by one. here's what i'm up against:

the new ikea in charlotte opened today. my mom and i are going to go this weekend (she doesn’t know that yet). it’s going to be totally crazy, i know.

i’m making a list of staples i need. number 1 is sheep skins. they are absolutely essential in our house for saving our couch from rowdy. olivia is very helpful in that whenever she thinks it’s time to replace an old one, she’ll pee on it.

i’m also interested in their new fabrics, as well as a dog bowl stand, and possibly a light fixture to replace the terrible one in our study.
