  1. Amen. I love Anthropologie; but the whole store is seriously OVERPRICED.

  2. This is precisely why I've grown accustom to making pillows (and drapery) for my own clients. It's just too dang expensive to buy pretty ones now!

  3. The most I've ever spent is $85 (AUD) on a pillow and I considered returning it twice. I don't think I could shell out that more again.

  4. I bought two of these pillows from Anthro and returned them I week later - I attributed the purchase to a moment of temporary insanity. They looked fab on my couch though!

  6. I look to etsy for cute pillows at a much lower price. And if I do come across an $85 pillow at least I know it's going to a crafty entrepreneur.

  8. There is no way in hell I would spend that much money for anything that is going to be drooled on by my dog, sweated on by my boyfriend, and thrown on the floor. It's ridiculous.

And they're not the only ones, unfortunately. At least theirs are cute enough to cause you to think about it, a little.

  11. I can't even THINK about it! With kids, a husband - good grief. I can't even buy two pillows for $50 at Target! If I can't make it, it doesn't happen.

What about that pillow says $100? Does it do dishes? Vaccum? Offer friendly advice? Sheesh. And that's at the low end of the over-priced-pillow spectrum.
