i got mine on sale at anthropologie a long time ago.

i think i may bite the bullet and make roman shades for the windows in the same fabric. i think it will be nice running longways with the pulls at the stripes, you like?

yes, you may say ikat is tired, but so am i. i just rode my bike way farther to get breakfast than i'd bargained for.

if it's been around since at least the 15th century, it will probably still be ok in my kitchen for a couple more years...

  3. I've had ikat in my home for the past 20 years (and of course, people in Indonesia have had it way longer than that). It never gets tiring. Not any more than, say, stripes get tiring.
