cracktree

i brought a catnip plant that had been living outside into the kitchen. outside it was overlooked. inside, it's turned into a cracktree. i don't think it's going to make it.

note right half is already badly damaged by cat attacks.

i guess that's what it's for though, right?

I've tried planting catnip in our yard several times, but it always gets torn out and destroyed before the next morning by the crack-addicted neighborhood cats :o)

Cracktree - hilarious! I keep the catnip and cat grass in birdcages. The cats can only get to the parts that stick out of the cage, so they don't end up killing it with too much nibbling.

Is there a kitty version of High Times?

Girl, what were you thinking? Kitty crack...inside, and unobstructed. Oh my. So very funny. I'm lucky if I can keep the catnip toys intact for a day or so. Good story...the picture is awesome. That poor mauled plant.

We planted catnip outside one year. I got some kind of sick thrill watching the neighborhood cats run for their lives every time we let the dog out. don't worry, the cat's were always faster.

love your blog by the way!
