bookcase of the day

this one gets a little extra attention b/c it has a story.

ariel emailed me pics of these custom bookshelves her boyfriend built from recycled wood.

What a great idea! That definitely makes sense to put the wallpaper on the underside of the shelf. What a nice pop of color.

Is it possible to find out how they attached them? Is the bracket on top of the shelf? Did they screw them in from the top or from the bottom? Are there special brackets? So many questions....

I love how you have a whole section of your blog dedicated to just bookcases; pretty fly. I too have a penchant for books and bookcases. My husband thinks I have too many books but I strongly disagree.
