i do this with my hair frequently, but i don't imagine i come out looking like this.
its that little PUMPF! behind the head band that's hard to maintain.

i do this with my hair too. {and I look nothing like her} I call it the 'hip librarian look'.
I hate it when the headband goes zinging off the back of my head...my head must not be the right shape.

lots of ratting... and loads of hairspray.
How do you keep the rubber band thing from slipping off the back of your head? Like sucker, my head must not have bump at the bottom. Bobby pins, perhaps?
Lots and lots of back-combing. It's the only way to make this look work.
