They are fabulous! I have stayed in Seattle and had the privilege of assisting a designer in the production of the new Portland location. Clyde Commons, the new restaurant attached to the Ace in Portland is absolutely divine.
i stayed in the seattle one years ago, when it was brand new. loved it. back then it was $80 for a room with a shared bath.
